A team of 20 staff, residents and supporters of Forest YMCA took part in the Kingston Rotary Dragon Boat Race on Sunday 21 July, to raise funds for the charity's work with young homeless people. Fundraising Officer, Emma Cornish said: "It was an amazing day - the weather was fantastic and there were lots of teams from different charities. We're delighted with our finishing time - and with raising over £1,000 for Forest YMCA!" Chief Executive Officer, Timothy Pain said: "Our staff and residents have been working really hard to raise the minimum sponsorship of £1,000. We're all really proud of them."
